The Procurement Division was established on 18 March 2008 following the merger of the Ministry of Internal Security and the Ministry of Home Affairs. This division is responsible for managing the procurement of supplies and services for agencies/departments under the ministry in an efficient and prudent manner and in compliance with the financial procedures prescribed to meet the needs of users (agencies/departments).
To streamline the Procurement Division, it is divided into four units;
i. Policy and Administration Unit
ii. Technical Procurement Unit
iii. ICT Procurement Unit
iv. General Procurement Unit
